New Mexico comments & photos

Hi everybody! This is my first attempt at blogging! I'm going to try to put pictures on here of our house here in Belen. We don't know how many pictures we'll be able to post, but we'll post as many as we can. We've been having a good year here this time around. Besides our nice house we also have had exceptionally fine weather. Happily, we've seen quite a lot of Luke and Maddie. Their visit to Minnesota this summer will be from July 15th to August 5th. Their parents are going to take them to Dallas to fly to and from because it is a lot cheaper and easy to get a nonstop flight. Clint is very excited about his new job because it will be a more regular job with regular hours, a significantly higher salary, and secure. Hie current employer seems about ready to shut down and Clint didn't feel secure at all. We got some terrific news yesterday because Molly (daughter-in-law) called us and said they'd gone to a conference at Luke's school about Luke's progress and they got a very optimistic report! He's getting B's in everything but math where he's getting a C plus. It's a miracle! He's doing ninth grade work. This is mainstream classroom work, not special ed. It's an answer to prayer as he's struggled a long time. Last week Joe and I took Luke and Maddie on the RailRunner, a train that runs from here to Albequerque several times daily. It naturally stops at various small towns betwwen here and Albequerque. It was fun! In Albequerque we were able to ride a free bus called "Rapid Ride" to the aqarium and other points of interest. The day before that we'd taken Luke & Maddie to an historical site of a long ago mission and the ruins of the church and grounds. It was really interesting. I think I'd best close now, but, with Joe's help, I'm going to try to post those pictures.
